Gynaecologist and gynaecologic oncologist with a focus on ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancers, individualised treatment planning, surgical oncology, and the integration of immunotherapy and targeted therapies in gynaecologic malignancies.
I am a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics with a subspecialization in gynecologic oncology. I currently work at the Medical University of Vienna, where my focus lies in the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancers, with particular emphasis on personalized medicine and molecular pathology. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am actively engaged in academic teaching and research and supervise diploma and PhD theses in the field of gynecologic oncology.
After completing my PhD at the translational research laboratory of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Medical University of Vienna, I trained and worked at leading institutions across Austria and Germany, complemented by visiting fellowships in India and the United States. My clinical and scientific work centers on immunotherapy, molecular profiling, and personalized medicine in gynecologic cancers. I have co-authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications and currently serve as an editorial fellow for the International Journal of Gynecologic Cancer.
I am passionate about empowering patients through clear, evidence-based guidance—particularly when facing complex or life-changing diagnoses. Providing second medical opinions through Diagnose.me enables me to share my subspecialty expertise in gynecologic oncology with individuals who may have limited access to specialized care.
