Clinical focus

Radiologist specialising in AI-driven medical imaging, with expertise in MRI, CT, and ultrasound interpretation, teleradiology, and the clinical validation of AI-based diagnostic tools.

About me

I am a radiologist and internationally recognised expert in AI-driven medical imaging. I hold a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Antwerp and a medical degree (cum laude) from KU Leuven, with specialisation in diagnostic radiology.

I combine active clinical practice with research, teaching, and strategic advisory work. As a Visiting Professor at Ghent University, I teach medical students and radiology residents about the use of AI in clinical practice, supervise research projects, and focus on human-in-the-loop approaches and the rigorous clinical validation of AI applications.

My goal is to provide patients with clear, reliable, and expert radiological advice, helping them better understand their imaging results and supporting informed medical decision-making. I also have extensive experience in teleradiology and multidisciplinary collaboration with referring physicians and specialists.
