About me

I am a certified expert in Haematology and Medical Oncology with more than 25 years of experience in diagnosing and treating haematological and oncological problems. I am the Medical Director at Private Hospital Confraternitaet in Vienna, focusing on medical oncology.

After my studies in Vienna and the USA, I focused primarily on patients with leukaemia, including bone marrow transplantation. Later, I gained particular experience in managing patients with multiple myeloma and malignant lymphomas, working as director of the programme ‘Multiple Myeloma. and Lymphomas’ at the Clinical Department of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine I AKH Wien.

I have published over 120 scientific articles and 14 book chapters and have served as a board member of the Austrian Society of Hematology and Oncology for 9 years.
