About me

I am a board-certified neurosurgeon and intensivist with more than two decades of experience in university and academic hospitals in Germany and Greece. I currently serve as the Director of the Department of Neurosurgery at Athens Medical Center. My focus lies in the surgical treatment of brain tumours, neurovascular conditions, and complex spinal pathologies, and I am passionate about combining surgical precision with evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in clinical research, academic teaching, and the development of neurosurgical standards, including my contributions to international committees and clinical trials. I have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and mentored students and residents across Europe.
