Clinical focus

Gynaecologist and gynaecologic oncologist with a focus on ovarian, endometrial, cervical and vulvovaginal cancers, individualised treatment planning, surgical oncology, and the integration of immunotherapy and targeted therapies in gynaecologic malignancies.

About me

I am an attending physician in gynaecology and obstetrics with a subspecialisation in gynaecologic oncology, working at the Medical University of Vienna. My clinical focus is the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and vulvovaginal cancers, with particular emphasis on personalised medicine and molecular pathology. I am especially interested in developing individualised treatment strategies based on molecular tumour profiles, particularly for patients with limited standard therapeutic options. In addition to my clinical work, I am actively engaged in teaching and research and supervise diploma and PhD theses in gynecologic oncology.

After completing my PhD at the translational research laboratory of the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Medical University of Vienna, I trained and worked at leading institutions across Austria and Germany, complemented by visiting fellowships in India and the United States. My clinical and scientific work centres on immunotherapy, molecular profiling, and personalised medicine in gynecologic cancers. I have co-authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications and currently serve as an editorial fellow for the International Journal of Gynecologic Cancer.

I am passionate about empowering patients through clear, evidence-based guidance - particularly when facing complex or life-changing diagnoses. Providing second medical opinions through Diagnose.me enables me to share my subspecialty expertise in gynaecologic oncology with individuals who may have limited access to specialised care. I believe that clear communication and professional reassurance can significantly enhance patient outcomes and confidence throughout their treatment journey.
