I am a board-certified neurosurgeon with additional specialisation in intensive care medicine and a strong academic and clinical background in neuro-oncology, vascular neurosurgery, and complex spinal surgery. Over the past two decades, I have led neurosurgical departments in Germany and Greece. I currently serve as Director of the Department of Neurosurgery at Athens Medical Centre. My medical philosophy is rooted in multidisciplinary care, evidence-based decision-making, and a commitment to patient dignity and safety.
Alongside my clinical work, I have pursued an academic path with over 60 PubMed-indexed publications, multiple editorial board roles, and supervision of numerous clinical trials and doctoral theses. I am passionate about global medical collaboration and regularly teach medical students and residents in Europe.
