I am the Head of Medicine at the Private Hospital Goldenes Kreuz and the Assistant Medical Director at the Clinical Division of Oncology at the Medical University of Vienna. I graduated from the Medical University of Vienna and specialised in internal medicine, intensive care, and haematology/oncology. I became a professor of medicine in 2001. I am also an experienced emergency physician and public health officer.
Over my 30 years of experience, I have gained expertise primarily in the treatment and management of cancer patients, focusing primarily on breast cancer, colorectal cancer, NSCLC, SCLC, melanoma, and lymphoma. My research mainly focuses on pain management, cancer pain relief, and critical care management of oncologic patients. I have written numerous publications on these topics.
