I am very pleased with the doctor's explanation. It agrees with the diagnosis I had from the local doctors, so it reassures me in future decisions.
Very useful suggestions both regarding the question I posed and some new information about an earlier diagnosis I had not even thought about questioning.
Thank you very much for your valuable input.
