Also involved in MR-PET diagnostics, intraoperative MR diagnostics, ultra-high-field MR spectroscopy of the brain, and metabolic MR diagnostics.
I am a neuroradiologist at the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery in London and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London. My academic affiliation with the Institute of Neurology at University College London enables me to collaborate broadly in clinical and basic research in neuroimaging and contribute to translating neuroscience discoveries into treatments for patients with neurological diseases.
I am also a professor of radiology and affiliated research partner at the Department of Neuroradiology at Eberhard Karls University in Germany and I hold an MSc in "Advanced Oncology" from the University of Ulm in Germany, where I lecture on neurooncology imaging.
I am clinically involved and academically active in MR-PET imaging, intraoperative MR imaging, ultra-high-field brain MR spectroscopy, and metabolic MR imaging. My clinical and basic science research achievements are documented in over 100 papers. My h-index is 21 (sum of times cited: 1120).
I am also a Fellow of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (FESHNR) and active in other European radiological and neuroradiological organizations. I have been awarded multiple awards, served as an editor of several medical journals, and supervised PhD students.
